on animal abuse and how to make positive and meaningful changes. We have
been in Madison for over 19 years and have helped implement changes both in
Wisconsin and nationwide. We concentrate heavily on direct advocacy, humane
education and outreach, and legislation.
Our meetings are held the second Monday of
every month at 7 pm in the fourth floor conference room at: 122 State Street
in Madison. Our meetings are open to the public. Membership to the Alliance
is $25/year for general and $15/year for students. Membership includes our

active animal rights campaigning. We believe that all animals have inherent
dignity and deserve respect. They are not made for human consumption, use,
entertainment, or abuse. MCAR exists to promote compassionate lifestyle
choices to students and to improve the lives of non-human and human animals
at the University of Wisconsin.
Meetings are every Monday at 7pm in the
Humanities Building on the UW Campus. Check
